Escrow, matching, and payment are all enforced by the smart contract itself, not by Taskify.
Owners select a minimum and maximum experience tier when posting. Contributors declare their level at registration. The contract verifies the match on-chain when a contributor applies, not just the UI.
This gate applies to Development tasks only. Community tasks (memes, bug write-ups, social bounties) are open to anyone, no tier required.
Every participant strengthens the protocol for everyone else.
Post a Development task matched by experience tier, or a Community task anyone can join. Lock MUSD in escrow either way.
GitHub-verified? Apply to experience-matched Development bounties. Just X-linked? Join Community tasks (memes, bug write-ups, social bounties), no code required.
Any registered wallet (Owner or Contributor) can deposit MUSD to fund the grant pool and earn Patron tiers. Voting on grant applications is separate: gated by the veBTC position you already hold on Mezo Earn, not by role or by depositing.
Payment and governance are deliberately separate systems: one native to Taskify, one native to Mezo Earn.
Bitcoin-backed stablecoin native to Mezo. The primary escrow currency: contributors know exactly what they earn with zero price exposure.
Taskify doesn't custody anything for governance. Lock BTC on Mezo Earn to mint veBTC, and that position's weight is read directly from Mezo's own contracts every time a grant vote is cast.
